The No Bullshit Manifesto

Manifesto for Realistic, Enlightened, and Responsible AI Consulting

We acknowledge that artificial intelligence offers numerous prospects for transforming many professions and processes, but also raises ethical concerns. In order to responsibly and constructively accompany organizations through their transformations, we value these principles :

Describe with honesty both the limitations and potential gains of AI as soon as the business issue is understood.

Explain the algorithms and their functioning as much as necessary for informed decisions by all stakeholders, and propose training actions when possible.

Embrace the principle that AI is not the answer to all business needs and should only be used where necessary, being able to suggest other techniques when they are better suited.

Continuously follow applied and fundamental research to ensure state-of-the-art consulting.

Integrate the client's information system constraints and scalability requirements so that recommended solutions can be easily and sustainably implemented.

Minimize tunnel effects as much as possible and divide projects into key stages to allow the client to validate deliverables and exit the project if the results do not meet expectations.

Consider regulatory, ethical, environmental, and security issues from the early stages of analysis or design.
