Context
The Institut Louis Bachelier is a research incubator in economics and finance that has set up two laboratories (ILB Labs) to support players in the banking and insurance sector in their needs for statistical analysis and machine learning modeling. In this context, the ILB calls on Datalchemy to provide expertise, methodological support and training for its researchers.
Need
- Targeted training on the latest advances in AI (generative models, time series, etc.).
- Benefit from scientific support to carry out data science projects applied to the financial sector.
- Strengthen the DataLab’s in-house skills to carry out independent research and prototyping.
Completed work
- Design and delivery of a series of customized training courses on various topics (generative models (GAN, VAEs), pre-processing, mixed data modeling, time series prediction methods, AI industrialization) for DataLab researchers.
- Scientific support for several projects:
- development of financial time series prediction models,
- create visualization dashboards to explore results.
Results
- A large number of researchers trained in advanced deep and machine learning techniques.
- Provision of reusable teaching aids for future in-house sessions.
- Several operational prototypes validated by ILB Labs, facilitating the transition to larger-scale industrial projects.
